I signed last night at the B&N in West Chester -- fairly decent signing, overall. Sold all 16 copies of the mmpb of TWILIGHT that they had in the store, and three of the new NIGHTFALL hardcovers. I enjoyed getting to meet
kerinda in the flesh for the first time and talk to her for a bit, and in general had a good time chatting with people for an hour and half. I especially liked the gaggle of four boys who looked to be in their first year of high school or so. One of them goggled at the books and asked "Did you write those?" as if he thought books actually grew from trees (which I guess they do, in a way...), and then: "If I buy one, will you autograph it?"
So he took one of the paperbacks, and I signed it for him. "Cool!" he said...
Hope he enjoys the book as much as he enjoyed having it signed. :-)
Tonight, there's no signing, just singing: Mark and I are playing at the College Hill Coffee Company from 7:30 - 9:30. If you're local, stop by!
