In case you missed it: the spam e-mail for Toast's gig this weekend (mostly authored by Tom Steele, with some additions by Steve Leigh...)

TOAST! – flavored classic rock!

This Friday, January 30th, TOAST! makes it’s triumphant return to playing a regular club (bar, bistro, joint). We’ve been doing private parties (balls, banquets, gatherings) for so long, we’ve forgotten what you look like. So here’s the plan…

1. Dig yourself out from under the White Death that's supposed to fall here Tuesday and Wednesday.

2; You call your neighbors (wake the kids, call a buddy, bring a friend).

3. Bring them all with you to The Silverton Café (7203 Montgomery Road) this Friday from about 8:30-12:30.
Come early, eat and find a seat (we’re sure they’ll be hard to find). Seriously, this is our first time at TSC, so we’d love to fill the joint and show them that you like us…you REALLY like us!

4. We’ll dust off our personalities (cuz, let’s face it, the musical “chops” have just too much dust).

5. And we’ll all have a TOASTY good time!

TOAST!-NOTES:
Since you’ve seen us…
We’ve learned some new tunes for you. We hope. At least, we'll try to play them.
Vogel’s hair grew back (or did he say that his back-hair grew?).
Steele gained just short of a million pounds.
Dale has a pretty pony tail.

TOAST! is:
Steve Leigh (aka Sleigh): bass and big vocals
Rick Hagee: keyboards and way high vocals
Steve Gallant (aka SG): sax, flute, EWI, (tambourine!) and, when he’s not blowing on something, assorted vocals
Tom Vogel (aka Tam Bone): drums and low, low (PERC-a-lator) vocals
Dale Lewis: screaming lead guitar and screaming yellow vocals
Tom Steele: acoustic guitar and any/all remaining vocals

And, perhaps, the 7th TOAST-er…YOU*: on cowbell and (PLEASE!) no vocals.
* Send picture and resume

As you know, 4 out of 5 dentists recommend Toast! to their patients who listen to bread products -- have you talked to your bagel today?
