In this one, the new aces have to deal with a middle eastern oil crisis, a massive hurricane in the Gulf (and zombies in New Orleans), what appears to be a nuclear explosion in Texas, and a humanitarian crisis in Africa. All at once. Melinda Snodgrass gets the interstitial task of weaving it all together into a seamless whole, and does a stellar job of that task.
