I lost mine a LONG time ago...

OK --this Pandemic World recording is the most complicated one I’ve attempted to record: I’m using my chorus pedal on the guitar, a pre-recorded loop on another pedal, and the Harmony Singer pedal… and that’s the way I do this one on solo gigs, usually. This will be R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion” and hopefully I’ll manage to get through it. Wish me luck, anyway. 

 

This is how we did the tune in a former band I was in -- the bass player and drummer did their part, one guitarist played the chords in normal range, while the other guitarist (me) played “mandotar” -- playing the mandolin part high up on the neck. There’s no drummer or bass in this, but there is mandotar.
