Morning Bird Pic

MBP: The chickadee has successfully extracted a seed from the feeder. Now comes the decisions. Should it put the seed between its feet and hit it with its beak until it cracks, or should it hold the seed in its beak and hammer it against the metal rod of the perch until it opens, or should it immediately fly away to a convenient branch and do one of those two things there? Decisions, decisions...

The amp returns...

Yay! I finally have my Ampeg PF500 amp back (which decided it no longer wished to function at Tom Vogel's pool party concert). The amplifier circuit blew, had to be replaced, and Loud Music took forever to get the part to the technician. It arrived yesterday. Now, hopefully, the amp will continue to work and last longer than three lousy years.

In the meantime, I've been using an Acoustic head that was purchased back in the early 1970s. It's terrifically heavy, big, and clunky, and the pots like to hiss and crackle when you turn them, but otherwise it's still working just fine...
