Proofs

I have the proofs for the paperback edition of IMMORTAL MUSE, which means I have a question for those of you who read the hardback edition -- that's everyone here, right? :-) Anyway, if you noticed any spelling errors, missing words, extra words, or other such copy-editing errors, let me know at sleigh (AT) farrellworlds.com or here so I can add those corrections. Corrected proofs have to be back at DAW by October 3.

Not to point out my shameful neglect of yard work (which I neglect whenever possible), but here's a broken candle holder blazing with color in the sun, sitting in an equally-abandoned flower bed on the deck.... Did I clean it up after I took the picture? What? Are you kidding? No, it's still out there.

The invading Viking Hordes were all guys, right?

For those who believe that in all medieval cultures the women stayed home... Not with the Vikings, evidently. Archeologists examining the structure of Viking warrior skeletons rather than simply assuming that because they're buried with armor and weapons they must be male, are finding that approximately half of them are woman...

Take that, patriarchal society!
