One of the newer members of the bird feeder community in our back yard is the Tufted Titmouse. A rather odd name, though Merrriam-Webster gives its origin as "by folk etymology from Middle English 'titmose', from 'tit' any small object or creature + 'mose' titmouse, from Old English māse."

Took awhile to get decent shots of it, though, since the titmouse tends to land, grab a seed, and take off. Here's one shot on the feeder, and one of the bird in the fir tree next to the deck.
