Fort Freak

The 21st WILDS CARDS volume, entitled "Fort Freak" and edited by George RR Martin, will be out in hardcover on June 21st. I'll have a story in it, as well, featuring the return of "Oddity," the three-in-one joker/ace. Other writers in this one will be long-time WC contributors Melinda Snodgrass, John Jos. Miller, Kevin Andrew Murphy, and Victor Milan. There will also be some 'newcomers' to the WC universe: Cherie Priest, David Anthony Durham, Mary Anne Mohanraj, Ty Franck, and Paul Cornell.

Short Story Collections for iPad and iPhone

Both A RAIN OF PEBBLES and A TAPESTRY OF TWELVE TALES are now live in the Apple iBookstore -- so all of you millions of people with iPad and iPhones can now add those titles to THE WOODS.

And the attribution of those books on the Sony ebookstore have been fixed now, thanks to quick work by ePublishing Works!, my aggregator.

Thanks to everyone who commented on the draft covers for THE WOODS. I will be going with a tweaked version of #4, though that'll take a bit to percolate up at the various sites (besides, I have yet to finish the tweaking....). I appreciate everyone's input!

Sometimes it's the small things...

Yesterday, I stopped at my office at NKU for the first time since the end of the semester. I found there a letter from one student and a card from another. I won't embarrass either of them by quoting, but suffice it to say that they pretty much made my day...
