Let's face it, by Saturday you'll never want to see another turkey sandwich again, and the cranberry sauce will be happily growing mold in the trash can. You'll finally be able to button your pants again, and there won't even be a football game on TV. You'll have grown weary of the noisy, inconsiderate relatives and their lousy kids who have made a wreck of your house and who have made your TV their permanent game machine.
You'll want to get out the house. You know you will. Well, we have the perfect excuse: TOAST! is playing at DeSha's this Saturday, from 7:30 - 11:30, and as you know, TOAST! consists of a bunch of leftover musical turkeys who have been moldering in basements for years. Toast! consists of Rick "Stuffing" Hagee on keyboards, Tom "Sweet Potatoes" Vogel on drums, Mike "Relish" Russell on percussion, Tom "Giblets" Steele on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Dale "Pumpkin Pie" Lewis on electric guitar, Steve "Green Bean" Gallant on sax, flute, and iwi, and Steve "Leftovers" Leigh on bass and lead vocals.
You deserve a break after the Thanksgiving dinner! So come on out to DeSha's, have a beer, and let someone else cook for you while we regale you with a selection of tunes that are as old as that jar of sweet relish you have on the bottom shelf of your fridge.
