I'm very, very pleased to announce that Todd Lockwood, who painted the gorgeous covers for A MAGIC OF TWILIGHT, A MAGIC OF NIGHTFALL, and A MAGIC OF DAWN, has been nominated for the 2010 Chesley Award for Best Hardback Cover for the painting for A MAGIC OF NIGHTFALL.
Hope you win, Todd! I think you did an incredible job on the cover, and the three paintings together form a lovely triptych for the series! I hope you also get nominated next year for A MAGIC OF DAWN, which I think is the best cover of the three.
The Chesley Awards are named for the brilliant astronomical painter Chesley Bonestell, and are awarded every year by the ASFA (Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists).
