A shout-out for a short story...

In his short fiction review column for Locus' August issue, Gardner Dozois reviewed Gamer Fantastic, an anthology edited by Kerrie Hughes and Martin H. Greenberg, published by DAW Books in July.  In his review, Gardner said that "... The best stories are by David D. Levine, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Jody Lynn Nye, and S.L. Farrell."

So there's a little shout-out for "The Gods of Every Other Wednesday Night." I had a bit of struggle birthing that story, but I guess it was worth it -- and thanks to Kerrie for asking me to write something for the anthology!

Since it's now up on amazon, I suppose I can show this: here's the cover for A MAGIC OF DAWN, again by Todd Lockwood, and (IMO) a lovely companion to the other two covers he did for TWILIGHT & NIGHTFALL.

A MAGIC OF DAWN will be released in hardcover in April, 2010; A MAGIC OF NIGHTFALL will be released in its mass market version in March, 2010...
