Well, almost... With the exception of one scene which still needs a little fiddling, I have finished the final revisions for A MAGIC OF DAWN. I'll touch up that last scene, let it sit a few days just to make sure that the subconscious doesn't object to something, then send it on to Sheila at DAW Books.
The book came in at a little over 186,000 words (not counting the appendices), for anyone who cares about such things -- the previous draft that I gave to Sheila and my first readers was 177,400 words; the initial first complete draft was 150,000 words. That should tell you that my process is generally additive rather than subtractive...
For now -- done! Now I have to start on a WILD CARDS story and put together a new proposal for DAW.
