Toast in June
Will make you swoon
It's the full phase of the moon
So you know the time is opportune
For our instruments to tune
in the midst of the SIlverton saloon
And play our signature tunes
Whilst us with applause you do festoon.
Tom & Steve will begin to croon
Whilst SG's Iwi plays contrabassoon.
Rick with his keyboard will commune,
Dale good taste in shoes does lampoon,
And TV plays the buffoon

All this on Friday evening, not afternoon
Whether tempest or monsoon
At Silverton Cafe you'll find our platoon
On the stage our equipment will be strewn
8:30 - 12:30 the time, not twelve noon
If only they served crab rangoon!

We hope to see you soon!

I've gone back through the entire draft of A MAGIC OF DAWN revising it up to the last (unwritten) section.  My personal revision notes had been fairly extensive and there were several significant changes to the first draft that I just couldn't resist fixing a bit early, especially since I wasn't quite certain how those changes would reverberate down to the climax.  I'm now drafting out the closing chapters, and the manuscript has hit 150,000 words; I expect that this draft will end at around 160,000 words -- and then it's off to Sheila at DAW and my first readers for their reactions.

I can see the light...!
