Celebrate the passing of April 15 with the most taxing band in the city -- at least the most taxing on your ears....

If you had to pay the IRS, then come and drown your tears and give your checkbook a chance to cool off.

If you're getting a refund -- hey, you're buying!

And no matter which, you'll have TOAST! playing "tax" tunes all night! "Tax Man" by the Beatles. "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits. "TAXi" by Harry Chapin. "Big Yellow TAXi" by Joni Mitchell. "Deep In the Heart of TAXes" "TAXes Flood" by Stevie Ray Vaughn. "TAX me to the River" by Talking Heads. "We're Not Gonna TAX it" by The Who. "TAX 5" by Dave Brubeck. "Rock Around the H&R Block" You name it -- we'll foul it up

In honor of April 15 and Tax Day, Rick will be playing with 30% less of his keys, Steve will hit only 70% of his high notes, Tom will hang his drums on tax brackets, Tom will do a quarterly estimate of how songs he has to play in each set, SG will take an exemption rather an Ewi solo, and Dale will be wearing Line 36 minus Line 22 size shoes and putting the result in Line 37. All of our songs will be in key of Schedule C.

And don't forget our special presentation at 10:40!

Accountants get in free!

Come on down to TOAST'S new favorite place to play, the Silverton Cafe (7203 Montgomery Rd), this Friday night! We'd love to see you there so you can listen to us complain about our tax returns. You can complain about the noise.

See you there!!!!!!!!
