This Saturday, the 14th, from 7:30 - 9:30PM, the Davis Leigh Duo will be at College Hill Coffee Company (North Bend and Hamilton Ave) -- with our Special Guest Star, David Schmit, who's a fine pianist and who has appeared with the Duo before at CCHC -- look out for his sunglasses!
Think of all the good luck we'll have because we're not playing on Saturday the 14th rather than Friday the 13th! We'll even share it with you. In fact, we suggest that you come and listen very carefully -- the winning lottery numbers for next week will be contained in 1) the number of songs we play; 2) the number of times Steve switches from bass to guitar, 3) the number of mistakes Steve makes on guitar, 4) the number of black keys on David's keyboard, 5) the number of notes Mark actually plays in his solo for "Cover of the Rolling Stone", and 6) the number of times the espresso machine drowns out the vocals.
This is a *guarantee*! If you're there, and you write down all those numbers correctly, you will win the lottery! (And we're not talking the Shirley Jackson kind!) Think of the disappointment you'll feel when the jackpot goes to someone else just because YOU didn't show up on Saturday!
