Whoopee! The book should be out there now. Why aren't you out there buying it, huh? :-)

Because the bookstores aren't open yet?

But you're supposed to be in that big line that's forming, waiting for the store to open! :-)

'Cause I'm busy blogging about it (http://jimhines.livejournal.com/343934.html)!

Congrats on the release!

Many, many congrats! What a gorgeous cover!

The artist is Todd Lockwood, who is indeed a wonderful painter. It's a 'different' cover -- since a 'major character' in the novel is the city of Nessantico, Sheila at DAW wanted a cover that had an architectural focus.

Hey, I was standing in line to vote. Best chance will be during lunch.

Congrats! Here's hoping it's a huge success. Now, go vote!

But... we don't vote today here in Ohio. :-) Besides, as an independent, I don't vote in the primaries.

Oh... Well, to quote that great American social critic, Emily Littella: "That's different. Never mind."

Saw it

It was on the "new" shelf at a Barnes and Noble yesterday.

I pointed it out to Bonz. She said, "He's my favorite writer, He plays Wizard with me."

Re: Saw it

Well, and Bonz is my favorite wizard player, even if I usually lose to her!

Hi, Steve - just stoppin' by to say I saw your guest-piece at Joshua's blog. And am now going to order the book...

From: [identity profile] barbarienne.livejournal.com

The cover is stunning. How did I not get to see that before now?

totally OT: just read your guest stint on Josh Palmatier's blog. I have but a single comment: Being both bass player and lead singer worked pretty darn well for Geddy Lee!

From: [identity profile] sleigh.livejournal.com

Indeed it did, but it's the exception rather than the rule... :-)

From: [identity profile] allaboutm-e.livejournal.com

Does being out there selling it count? ;)

From: [identity profile] piratejenny.livejournal.com

I'm not buying it cause I found a copy for free at work last week. Neener!

Because we're too busy voting for Mitt Romney?

(Sorry, just wanted to see if I could actually see your head explode through the Internet!)

From: [identity profile] sleigh.livejournal.com

*BOOM!!!*

[The LJ cleaning crew stops by later: "Hey, I thought there was a head explosion here we had to mop up. There's a guy over there with an exploded head, but I don't see any brains..."]

From: [identity profile] sleigh.livejournal.com

Hey, hey now! No fighting, and especially no beating up on kids -- there's plenty for everyone... :-)

But bugging you bookstore to carry more copies: that you can do!
