The artist is Todd Lockwood, who is indeed a wonderful painter. It's a 'different' cover -- since a 'major character' in the novel is the city of Nessantico, Sheila at DAW wanted a cover that had an architectural focus.
The cover is stunning. How did I not get to see that before now?
totally OT: just read your guest stint on Josh Palmatier's blog. I have but a single comment: Being both bass player and lead singer worked pretty darn well for Geddy Lee!
