After a long and exhaustive article from the NY Times yesterday outlining how the administration, the Justice Department, and the CIA have gotten around the restriction on torture of prisoners, King George has said defiantly and definitely that "This government does not torture people. We stick to U.S. law and our international obligations."

I suspect that many people don't believe that statement. So how about this: we'll let King George submit to interrogation using the 'non-torture' techniques allowed under the Justice Department's guidelines, and we'll see how he feels about it afterward.
